எம் எஃப் ஹுஸேனும் இந்துக் கடவுளரும்!

பழைய சோறுதான் , கொஞ்சம் புதிய பானையில்!!

நண்பர் ஒருவரிடமிருந்து இப்படி இமெயில் வந்தது...வழக்கம் போல போலி செக்யூலரிசம் மீது அதிருப்தி அடைந்து, இத்தாலி சாம்ராஜ்யத்திற்கு எதிராக எதுவும் செய்ய முடியாமல், tired of secularism என்று புலம்பும் சக மனிதர்களாய்! அதைக் கொஞ்சம் பார்ப்போம்.

If a person dresses like a Sikh Guru, thousands of Sikhs gather and destroy their establishments , threaten to kill him, announce a bounty on his head - Sikhs are not criticised for being communal and intolerant, If a Danish journalist depicts the Prophet of the Muslims , Muslims all over the world rise in anger, there is violence, a booty on the head of the Journalist - Muslims are not criticised for being communal and intolerant,

If MF Hussain draws paintings depciting Hindu Gods and Goddesses positions (which relations are not borne out by ancient texts at all ) and Hindus merely protest , they are called communal, intolerant and taught lessons in secularism by one and all.

The problem apparently is not with Sikhs and Muslims, it is with Hindus , because we are not violent, we accept what ever is dished out to us , we do not have the guts to say that this is wrong , we seek acceptance from outsiders rather than from our conscience. We worship the same GOds and Godesses but dont stand up for them when the time comes.

Naked Bharatmata - Hussain has shown naked woman with names of states written on different parts of her body. He has used Ashok Chakra, Tri-colour in the painting. By doing this he has violated law & hurt National Pride of Indians. Both these things should be of grave concern to every Indian irrespective of his religion.

Out of the four leaders M. Gandhi is decapitated and Hitler is naked. Hussain hates Hitler and has said in an interview 8 years ago that he has depicted Hitler naked to humiliate him and as he deserves it ! How come Hitler ' s nudity cause humiliation when in Hussain ' s own statement nudity in art depicts purity and is in fact an honour ! This shows Hussain ' s perversion and hypocrisy.

கடைசி ஓவியத்தின்படி, ஹுஸேன் ஹிட்லரை வெறுக்கிறாராம். அதனால் அவரை அவமானப்படுத்த வேண்டியே அவரது உருவத்தை நிர்வாணமாக வரைந்ததாக சில வருடங்கள் முன்பு ஒரு பேட்டியில் தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார். அதன் படி பார்த்தால் இந்துக்கடவுளரை அவர் வெறுத்ததாலேயே நிர்வாணமாக வரைந்திருக்கிறார் என்றும் தெரிகிறது.

இதை தட்டிக்கேட்கும் இந்துக்களும் இந்து அமைப்புகளும் மதவாதிகளாக சித்தரிக்கப் படுகிறார்கள் என்பதே வேதனை. மேலும் எம் எஃப் ஹுஸேனின் ஓவியத்தை கலை என்றும் அதைக் கலைக் கண்ணோடுதான் பார்க்க வேண்டும் என்றும் நம் ஆட்களே கூட சப்பைக் கட்டு கட்டுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் அதே கலைக்கண்ணோடு அவர் ஏன் தன் தாயையோ தன் மகளையோ, வேறு இஸ்லாம் பெண்களையோ அல்லது நபிகளையோ கூட வரையவில்லை. கலை அறிவு அவருக்கு இஸ்லாத்தை வரையும் போது மட்டும் வேலை செய்யவில்லையா என்ன?

இந்துக்களில் சிலரே இந்துக் கோவில்களில் இருக்கும் சிலைகளும், ஏன் சாமி சிலைகள் கூட நிர்வாணமாகத்தானே இருக்கின்றன. அதை இந்த ஓவியர் வரைந்தால் அதை ஏன் பெரிதுபடுத்துகிறீர்கள் என்றும் கூறுவார்கள். நிர்வாணம் குற்றம் அல்ல. இந்து மதம் உடல் ரீதியான விஷயங்களை பெரிதுபடுத்தி ஆன்மீகம் முழுவதையும் உடல் மீது வைக்கவும் இல்லை. ஆனால் ஒரு ஓவியன்,தம் குலப் பெண்டீரை நிர்வாணமாக வரைவது அவர்களை அவமதிக்கும் செயல் என்று நினைப்பவனாக இருந்தால், தம் கடவுளரையோ மத குருக்களையோ அப்படி வரைவது கூடாது என்ற சிந்தனை கொண்டவனாக இருந்தால் அதே உணர்வையும் மரியாதையையும் அவன் எல்லா பெண்களின் மீதும் எல்லாக் கடவுளரின் மீதும் காண்பிக்க வேண்டியது தானே ஞாயம்.

மேலும் ஒருவனை நிர்வாணமாக வரைவதென்பது அவனை அவமதிக்கும் ரீதியான ஒரு பழிவாங்கும் உணர்ச்சியாக நினைப்பவன் யாரை நிர்வாணமாக வரைந்தாலும் அதே உணர்வாகத்தான் புரிந்துகொள்ளப்படும்.

ஆனால் நாம் இதைப்பற்றியெல்லாம் பேசக்கூடாது. பேசினால் மதவாதிகள் என்ற பட்டம் தான் மிஞ்சும். ஏனெனில் இது செக்யூலரிச நாடாயிற்றே!

சிறிது காலத்திற்கு முன்பாக டாவின்சி கோட் என்ற திரைப்படம் கிறிஸ்தவ பாதிரியார்களின் மூலைச்சலவை மதமாற்றம் பற்றி தோலுரித்துக் காட்டுவதாக இருக்கிறபடியால் அதை வெளியிடக்கூடாது என்று பலத்த எதிர்ப்பு பாதிரிமார்களாலும் மிஷனரிகளாலும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது.அரசாங்கம் இதில் உடனே அக்கரை காட்டி அந்தப் படத்தை தடை செய்தது. ஆனால் இந்த அக்கரை எம் எஃப் ஹுஸேனின் ஓவியங்களை தடை செய்ய வேண்டும் என்ற கோரிக்கைகள் மீது காட்டப்படவில்லை.

ஆனால் நாம் இதைப்பற்றியெல்லாம் பேசக்கூடாது. பேசினால் மதவாதிகள் என்ற பட்டம் தான் மிஞ்சும். ஏனெனில் இது செக்யூலரிச நாடாயிற்றே!

இந்த செக்யூலரிசத்தின் பயனாக இப்போதெல்லாம் மும்பை வாசிகள் எப்படி பேசிக்கொள்கிறார்கள் தெரியுமா?
