Please do not consider it as another one anti hindu film. The primary objective of this film is to convert the 1.5 mllion hindu ( kongu vellalar community).. by misinterrupting their kula devatha story.

The misnterrupted Tamilian philosophy (fake dravidian story) helped the missinories to do the religious conversion. Even though the aryan dravidian thoery got failed in both historical & genetical analysis, majority of tamilans believed this fake story.. because of text book and media. The fake story still helps the missinories.
In 1997, the well known power hungery person called karunanithi renamed the parangi malai ( Named in the name of Brigu rishi) as St thomas mountain for the christians supports in 1996 tamilnadu assembly election. This is called win-win situation. Karunanithi won in the elction. The missinory spread thier fake story in chennai region. I fear the poonar shankar could be one of such attempt intended for coming Tamilnadu election. As we all know karunanithi will go to any extend for the election victory. None of the media is going to supprt us. We must fight in a legal manner.

It looks a little weird that the community people have gone behind the actors portraying the characters in the film and criticizing on it.
They are just actors doing the role, given to them.
Has other artistes like KR Vijaya, Ramya krishnan, not performed the roles of durgai amman or bhagavathi roles?
Why such double standards? Looks like for such films, the casting director has to go for fresh faces or actors with unknown backgrounds
